Johnny Manziel signs deal with Nike

That's actually probably the best fit. Young josh Gordon. That elite LT. Good defensive pieces. The te Cameron.

I think you are just letting your bias get in the way

Gordon would probably smoke another blunt and get suspended to get himself outta that Manziel mess. Hopefully he finds refuge in Carolina.

I honestly can't take any of your player evaluations seriously since that thread you made. Manziel has real talent. Most people just see his height or his perceived partying attitude as a reason he can't play at this level. The kid is a straight baller.

Josh Gordon is amazing tough. I honestly would have given a 1st for him last year.

I don't see Manziel as THAT great.

I picture a decent starting QB when following the gameplan and being used to his strengths,

Take for instance Jeff Garcia. Not very tall, somewhat mobile, and not a noodle arm but not a rocket. He played pretty good under Andy Reid and did well in San Fran when he had TO.

I just cannot see Manziel sticking to his coaches gameplan and playing smart. I see him trying to avoid sacks and it costing him much more in the NFL (see Auburn games last play) and throwing the ball up expecting to bailed out like he was by Evans so often.

The NFL is a totally different level and if he doesn't play to his coaches gameplan and tries to be a hero too often he is not going to do very well.

I agree that with college you can get away with stuff like that most of the time but I honestly believe with what I've seen from manziel this last season and the time since he's declared for the draft that he really has matured and understood that being a pocket passer first in foremost is the way he will have success.
