No. Tired of seeing midget corners covering 6'4 receivers. Plus, we have too many nickel and dime CBs we can sign from last season. If we sign or draft anymore, they should be starting caliber or eventual starters.

I don't understand our infatuation with 5'10 corners especially with a guy like Kyle Fuller out there who might be the best in man to man coverage out of anyone in the draft.

If we are going to go after another small corner, why not just go all in on Verner; at least he's proven.

hes got a great attitude and plays bigger than his height. the knock on small guys is getting hurt and hes hurt. he man'd up and played hurt which goes far in my book.

Yeah, comparing the size of a 5' 8" guy to that of a 5' 9" guy is idiocy at it's peak. Receivers are getting bigger, we have tall WR's in the division, so wanting a taller CB is completely outlandish.

You just can't stand to have your superior talent evaluation skills questioned, tons of proof in the draft forum.

You along with plenty other Panthers fans are victims of the media. Yall do no research on prospects but listen to ESPN. The media does a great job of telling fans like you of how to build a SB team: just copy the team that just won the SB. Just like when GB won the SB and everyone were going crazy about how the league is turning into a passing league.

Again, yall are falling victims to believing that recievers and corners are getting taller. Just off the top of my head and if Im correct, in the last decade theres only been "two" receivers over 6'3" that won a SB (Plaxico/Colston), and "two" 6'3" corners that won a SB (Sherman/Browner); Browner didnt even play in SB.

It's not basketball. It's the NFL! You win with 46 players (active game day) and great coaching! It's not about size in the NFL.

You should question your superior talent evaluation skills bc theres obviously issues.

You also have to beat the teams in your division. It HAS become a passing league. Our division has Colston, Jackson, White, Jones, Graham, etc.

There's a legitimate need for guys who can contest the jump balls and be physical at the LOS with the bigger guys to disrupt the timing of the routes and plays.

I'm not saying I want all big guys, but the FACT remains that we share a division with good QB's and tall receivers.

Don't accuse me of basing my opinions off of ESPN, you don't have a clue about how I form my judgements.

I've done extensive research on Fuller and even went to see him play live (which is awesome by the way, I recommend going to a VT football game; great atmosphere).

Fuller was easily the best man to man corner in the NCAA last year. Drafting him would allow us to finally play more man-to-man. There's not a doubt in my mind that he would excel here. As for the Revis comment; it's Tampa's fault for not adapting to his skill set. Even John Fox learned to adapt to his players playing style: see The Golden Calf of Bristol. Personally I think we are primarily a zone team because our secondary is to weak to play man. However if you want to mold your defense into what Seattle has, you need physical corners that can play press, man-to-man defense.

Fuller also has great measurable's: 6 foot tall, 190, and runs a 4.4... You can't find better measurable's that that for a corner.

I don't like to compare players because it sets players up for failure but many have compared him to Verner's running mate: Jason McCourty.

Ive been keeping up with Verrett for two years now. The kid has evolved his game to who he is today. He can play both the zone and press.

I have not been able to keep up with Fuller much, but heard good things on him. Watched some cut ups of him and I see a 2nd round guy. He didnt really help himself much at the combine which imo solidify him as a 2nd rounder.

Again, no one is saying that we are trying to mold our defense to Seattle. Like I said above, please dont fall victim to the media. Teams dont build their team the next year by what the previous SB team did.

Fans ignore the fact that Browner and Sherman are just talented corners. It's not bc of their size. Earl Thomas is also the heart and soul, the LUKE KUECHLY of that defense. If you want to be Seattle that bad, here's your chance: sign Browner even with the 4 gms suspension. SJB, McGill, Fuller, etc are not Sherman or Browner.
