Luck related threads give a lot of people here that feeling. He seems to stand for a lot more than sports for a large segment of football followers. He's either gonna be great, average, or a back up. Whatever he becomes the sports itself will go on. Don't worry buddy, he's just another athlete. He represents nothing. He could be great but he still need WRs and other players, that's why they're so active in free agency. His success is as much that of his receivers.

This post is not football related, but I just want to say that this thread is a perfect example of the insidious and inherently evil nature of racism.  Before heads explode, let me continue.

 

When one experiences a certain degree of hatred simply because of appearance, generally speaking, one of three things happen:

 

1) you can ignore it entirely and try to keep going the best that you can (this is extremely difficult, but guys like RG3 and Russell Wilson favor this approach to the point where they refuse to discuss the subject at all)

 

2) you can acknowledge it and admit that it has some sort on impact (a huge impact like the pre-1960s days or a more moderate one like the present day) on the lives of you and your respective people and still try to keep going the best that you can

 

3) you can let it absolutely consume your life to the point where you are almost as bad as the racists who negatively impacted your life in the first place.  At that point, you become exactly like the people that you think you are trying to fight; "race" consumes you.  Everything is about "race"; at that point you have crossed over into the dark side.  You and the racists are actually batting for the same team (Team Hate) but are too blind to realize that. 

 

That's the problem with trying to fight hate with hate; eventually you become exactly like the people you are fighting against.  I'm not advocating the "head in the sand" approach; If there is a legitimate reason to call people out for racism by all means, call them out and let them face the consequences.  But don't let it consume you

I've been reading this board for years and one thing you should understand is there are certain players that are very close to the heart of most people (irrespective of jerseys color) that you should avoid talking negative of. If you do they'll make sure that doesn't continue. Yea, I know it's messed up that some players are off limit and you can't utter that a player that plays for another team sucks, but it's not about that. This is a privately ran forum and I'm sure the owner have his own agenda, for lack of a better word, that might contradict yours, and he'll most likely will not want to share that space with you.

Here is a little advice, every time you feel the urge to rant about such topic just go ahead and google the roster of the Colts, per se. The pictures of all the 53 man roster will pop up and you'll know what I mean. Everything else is just water under the bridge. And remember, you won and you beat them fair and square. Stop stressing about meaningless opinion.

You're posting on a forum not run or maintained by African Americans. Birds of a feather flocks together and this may not be your flock, fam. There are two games being played every weekend, one on the field and another by the media which includes forum like this. Focus more on the game on the field. For example, the game in the media is about Peyton but the real game on the field is about demaryus, julius, moreno, aqib, ware, etc. If you wanna continue enjoying following your favorite team on forums just ignore certain propaganda thread.
