And lots of money to spend. There should be no excuses next year. Turning the ball over 7 times in 2 games and being the underdog again at 11 wins is unacceptable. The Texans are coming.

agreed

hope the jags get Bridgewater

you just know the excuses will come for Luck if they dont live up to expectations... the NFL got Chud away from Cam after he was setting records his first 2 years..... they wanted Chud with Luck

You try so hard not be that to the point that you try too hard. It's suppose to be natural.

I don't have to "try" to be anything, kid.  I'm a little old for pretense, and frankly never cared much for it anyway.

Now, if I were, say, someone who constantly made posts and threads disparaging and talking down players of a certain race (with the content of said posts generally being extremely stupid and showing a complete lack of football knowledge), well then it might take some major effort to try to convince people that i wasn't bigoted.

Happily, that's not something I do.

You, on the other hand...well

I'm the type of fan that doesn't care about the color of a player's skin.

Your posts say otherwise.

The fact that you make it a purpose not to 'care about the color of a player's skin' show that it's something you're forced into. Whether you like it or not. What other choices do you have when majority of the players in the league are African American. You'd be one stressed dude if your favorite pass time is football and you care about the color of the players' skin. There are a large population who fit that category. The fact that you keep volunteering to state your stance shows that something bothers you or at least you aware that it should at least bother you or others. Tolerance is a practice, it's not something one is aware of 24/7. You come across 'I have a ---- friend' guy. I'm not calling you a bigot but you make it a purpose not to be one. That in itself can be stressful too.

For the sake of this discussion I will go outta my element and stating that one of my favorite players on this team is Greg Olsen. My image of him is a guy who make all the tough and crucial catches for us to move the chain. If it weren't for the sake of this discussion I would be doing him a disservice to write on a message board that he's white player. Just a dude that work his ass off catching passes between LBs and DBs.

As for Luck and Manziel, they don't play for this team and the media sell them as super athletic players with no basis for it. If Manziel and Luck had ran a 4.35 or even a 4.45 I would then understand. Manziel was projected to run in the 4.4 range and then he ran TE speed at 4.68, instead of the hype diminishing they spin it again into a positive for him. Ideally his stock should have plummeted never to be heard of again until his name is called in the 4th round, just like turtle Michael Sam who ran a 4.91 and could barely stay attentive at interviews. This is the combine process I'm used to. Weed out the worst from the best.

Bortles is a projected top 5 player as well, but right now this is probably the first time I've typed his name on this message board. That's because the media covers him according to what his talent warrants just like the other projected 1st rounders. Nothing more, nothing else. But, as for those other idiots, you can't open a sports page without seeing a story about either of them.

And finally, I do believe a dual threat(def. player who run fast and make accurate passes. Ideally 4.5 speed) QB is more valuable and difficult to scheme against. I prefer them for my team. Totally bigot.

Step One: Talk about someone else hypothetically using the 'black friend' argument.

Step Two: State "one of my favorite players is white".

Step Three: Talk (yet again) about the white quarterbacks you've repeatedly posted hatred for.

Wow. You're not exactly Captain of the Debate Team are you, kid?

And all that after using the first response in a thread about D'Qwell Jackson to talk not about him, but about the object of your delusional obsession, Andrew Luck.

You really do need help, kid. See a counselor about that obsessive disorder you have. Maybe they can help you get rid of some of that hate you're carrying around.
