Steve Smith at Clemson pro day

Doesn't he appear as confused, sad, or just unsettled as all Panthers fans? :(

That's the picture of a transitioning warrior.

Wow you get a picture of the moment that he was expressionless and thinking. Doesn't mean anything. Most of that he was happy and smiling. But it's hard to be happy when you have to come to terms with that fact that your career is nearing an end. Smitty is as competitive as anybody ever and it has to be hard on him to realize that his body is aging and he can't do the same things he used to be able to do

Unless G-Man asked Smith to go there to get the attention on that place while he goes to the real location for our pick?!?!? B/C he knew that we would know Smith was there & know what the master plan would be now only to not be the "real" master plan! You know?!?!

Smitty realized that he has been aging blah blah blah a few years ago, and said so for all intents and purposes, so I don't buy that. Smitty has also said that he is not yet ready to hang up his cleats. The thing that has Smitty reflecting is how after all these years---after all the blood, sweat and tears...that the Panthers (FO) may be moving on from him, regardless of his contract or anything else.  Don't you get that he was basically blindsided by the fact that he may not even have a choice to retire from the only organization that he has played for?  Any Panthers fan can see beneath the "happiness".  He can smile all day long (which he wasn't), but we know the deal.
