What do you think will be *the* biggest story of this offseason?

Right before free agency starts every year, the Huddle always has big dreams of what's to come between now and the draft. And every year......................virtually nothing happens. We sign cheap free agents to short-term deals that have a chance to compete for a starting job. And if we do trade up in the draft, it's never for a flashy player.

 

Does anyone think that will honestly be different this offseason? What's your big prediction?

We cut Cam and trade 3 1'st round picks to Cincy for the Red Rifle Andy Dalton.

We sign a FA LT that will have everyone scratching their heads asking how can we afford this.

We then sign a couple of our own guys back, Mitchell, Ginn, Munny. Prompting screams about no money.

We then draft 2 OTs that will have everyone screaming why did we pay for the FA LT.

So far, it's a toss up between franchising Hardy and Gross retiring.  I hope the FA OT we hopefully sign to take over at LT enters that conversation along with the first 1st round WR we've taken since "he who shall not be mentioned".
