Char vs Miami 3/3

That doesn't mean Al gets a pass on playing bad Defense. Which Al has done the past 2 nights.

The high pick game is not his strong point. He is what he is on D at this point in his career. A pretty good low post defender that gets burned in 1-on-1 situations. More times than not his offense (or at least the attention he gets) more than makes up for it.

Did you actually watch the game?

He gets the same number of minutes as Josh McRoberts & Chris Douglas-Roberts.

Clifford continues to bench him in favor of Henderson, McRoberts, & Neal/Sessions during the last 6-8 minutes of close games.

Something is up. The team is either tanking or just completely clueless & hopeless.

He sits on the bench because on offense the other team plays so off him he becomes an extreme liability. It allows a pretty much sure double team of Al.

You show me a list on who stop LeBron tonight?? Then is Big Al above any criticism now??

Spurs played a full series against Lebron WITH WADE, using Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green with an old ass Tim Duncan and less than stellar defensive bigs behind him. So, are you saying both of them are better defenders than MKG? They didn't give up 60 points to Lebron in a series, and MKG is supposed to be a natural defender.

Mustve been because Timmy was gunning the lanes on those screens with his Usain Bolt like explosiveness.

He was 3-3 for 6 points in the first 4 minutes, then he got benched the rest of the quarter.

I agree but his bad defense and 2 consecutive night doesn't give some fans the right to blame other players. They can't always cover up for him special when your playing against the best player on the planet. This fan base has such a knee jerk reaction to every game. Nobody was talking about MKG shouldn't have been drafting when we were giving up 10+ more points a night when he was out.

Questions:

was MkG responsible for all of LeBron's 60 points?

What about the and 1's because Al couldn't move his feet?

I love Al but he isn't above criticism.

Are you seriously trying to say that Al is any where near Duncan as a defender? Lol GTFO!!

Yes, that was exactly the point I was making... 40 year old Tim Duncan is totally like 29 year old Tim Duncan (that's called sarcasm, your meter is broken).

50 year old Tim Duncan is still a better defender then Al is today.

How many 60 point games did Scottie Pippen give up in his career, let alone a season, OBJECTIVE FAN? LOL.

He got touched by Mashburn, Penny, Stroankvich and Kobe a few times.

Also Wilkinson, Bird, Barkley, Bernard King earlier in his career. Should I keep going.
