Does size matter?

For Cam, its a yes. Cam tends to sail balls when under duress so we need some WRs that have the hands and ups to get them. Most 5'9" dudes are not going to do that.

 I really think we need guys like a Pierre Garcon to move the ball between the 20s as well as the big guy with the stature to go up and get those red zone grabs. The roles of WRs are becoming so specialized that it is rare to find a one size fits all.

 

The big guy can either be a TE or WR. The Saints and Patriots have proven that. I am really not sure why Olsen has not been a target more but getting open in a confined space as the end zone and in open field require different skill sets.

 

And then you want that speedy down field threat like the Panthers use Ginn that opens opportunities to for other receivers and get that occasional play  that burns a team for 80 yards.

 

It is all about balance.
