They came very close to not making it this year and that's with Harbaugh (who is clearly an elite coach).

 

What? they were a Seahawks loss away from winning the NFC West...12-4 is not "close to not making it", their division almost sent 3 teams...

but i personally think this is more media built BS, they blow everything out of proportion for story lines

Boldin has to say this. Where there's smoke there's fire. That being said I am 100% certain the media has made a lot more out of this than it is.

The truth normally lies somewhere in the middle so you are at least partially right. Harbaugh is without a doubt a dickhead and an asshole; most successful people are. Dickheads and assholes by nature rub some people the wrong way so there probably is some truth to the sentiment that some players don't really care for his way of doing things.
