Bobcats vs Thunder 3/2

Yeah that trade fugged us.  We secretly traded our best  PG for expiring contracts and now we have more holes then before the trade....no height at any of the guard spots.  No chemistry.

Congratulations Bobcats.....especially to you Higgins....the dumbest president of basketball operations I have ever seen....Droopy looking mufug.

This is my Rod Higgins impression.

"What we've won the last 3 you said?  We have a chance to grab the 6th seed and land a favorable match up against the Raptors you said?  We could actually win that series?   This isn't my plan....we can't have a good season....I haven't screwed our chances yet this year....I do it every year....it's like the Catalina Wine Mixer. I better get on the phone and make a crappy trade.  I'll just tell those stupid gullible fans that we need more three point shooters even though I got 10 million invested in one named Gordon that's getting paid to ride ride the pine...but fug him I'll waive him too.

"I'd rather continue to suck and make our fan base think it's all going to culminate into an NBA championship next year when what they really don't know is I plan to make this a perpetual cycle."

"It's all good though we'll make money....I'll just schedule a Taylor Swift concert."

Fug Higgins......dumb bitch needs to go.

Agreed, MJ's homie4lyfe needs to gtfo of here.

You obviously don't understand how big a 4 game lead on a team is. We would have to lose our next 4 games while Cleveland wins their next 4 just for Cleveland to be tied with us in the standings, not to mention that we won the tiebreaker over Cleveland... a.k.a... Hello Playoffs!!!

Which is not out of the realism of this team. We are now tied with ATL for 8th. They will jump us. Cleveland has got their swag back thanks to Uncle Drew. Detroit meh... NY will bounce back so that put us with the 5th worse record in the NBA. A little ping pong luck and we end up with the 3rd pick to get the superstar we artlessly need.

We're playing the best teams in the league and people act like the sky is falling... Get a fricken grip.

We just got smoked twice in a row after having five days to rest up and get the new players acclimated, and it's not that they lost.  It's that they look like they don't know how to play with each other and they show absolutely ZERO effort in the 4th.  Lazy lazy passes.  It was all the passes being stolen for easy buckets in transition in the fourth quarter that p'd me off.  No sense of urgency.  They expected to lose....and that's a culture problem.  Whether the team is good or not that's unacceptable.

I kind of think the same thing....the only reprieve that I'm giving Clifford is that he might be doing what he's told to.

God I hate Higgins.

Atl is about to lose to PHX, so we're still in 7th. I also don't see any scenario where we don't make the playoffs. After we get by murderer's row, our schedule turns super easy. We could easily get back to the 6th spot.

What's the point if you can't beat any good teams?  Why even make it?  I would be happy if we made the playoff and lost the first round series 4-2....that's not even going to happen anymore....and there's no way we get that sixth spot...we downgraded talent on a useless trade.....we purposely broke up a team that had chemistry and was playing well together.  We were winning when Session ran the point and Kemba slid over to SG.....we can't run that combo anymore.  That was our absolute best back court combo.  Kemba looks like garbage since Sessions have left.

I think Cho and Higgins undervalued what Sessions meant to this team.

I'm tired of the Cho-Higgins FO.  I think they're horrible.  Cho has never been the GM of a team that's actually been good while he was the GM there.

We hung in there with the Spurs and the Thunder for most of the game... Don't let the final score depict how you view the game. We just ran out of firepower against both teams

Brother and fellow fan....I appreciate the optimism. Don't let my posts fool you into thinking I don't absolutely love our team.  I appreciate the nonchalant approach, because as a Bobcats fan that's what you have to do to survive and not break your own property.

It's not that we lost...it's that they gave up in the 4th....all this deadline roster turnover has hurt our team.  They're playing like they've lost faith in the organization.  I can see it on their faces.  I would not be surprised if we went on an 8 to 10 games losing streak and reverted back to the Bobcats that were the worst team in history.

Jordan needs to do the right thing and get rid of Higgins and Cho....pay the money and bring in people that can get us to where we're trying to go without it taking a decade.

People are thinking they're going to be good when the Hornets come back.....that trade ruined it....they're not....I'm pissed about that too.

So because we traded away our back-up point guard who was going to be a free agent at the end of the year anyway, we are now going to suck next year? Interesting...

    • I didn't say much bigger. Watch the highlights I linked. Bryce doesn't have the arm strength and/or talent to make the vast majority of the throws Mac made in that video.
    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
