At 28, I would not hesitate to take Dennard (could possibly be there), Verrett, or Roby. Both Verrrett and Roby are smaller corners, but should be big time upgrade in our secondary. Imo, they both are better prospects coming out than Desmond Trufant who Atlanta traded up for.

Roby looked absolutely terrible in the CB drills in the combine, stiff hips and slow transition speed, both of which are near impossible to teach at this point.

Absolutely, completely, positively 100% disagree.

Roby was no Justin Gilbert or Phillip Gaines, the kid from Rice in the drills, but he along with Verrett was two of the better dbs at the combine. You should really consider re-watching it.

When I said that he's not talented, Im referring that he's not a legitimate corner on the outside. However, Munnerlyn is one of the best nickle in the league today. What really kills him is not his size or speed, but his ability to cover faster guys: Wallace.

LT is pretty much our biggest need now, but I dont believe that there will be any OT worth taking at 28: Kouandjio and Tiny (knees)? Im not sure. I see Morgan Moses as a "reach" bc I have not seen anything from the Senior Bowl or Combine that tells me he's a 1st round talent. Also, this WR class is too deep to still be able to find a playmaker in the 2nd.

If you're just assuming who'll be there with BPA, it's almost certainly CB.

I may just be the only one, but I feel like Dennard could fall to us at 28. Dennard had a solid combine, but was not great. He ran an okay 40 at 4.51 (13th in cb) which didnt impress me. I thought he was going to run much better than that, and he was really stiff in drills. Verrett and Roby whom had great combine could possibly go ahead of him.

I would like the scenario where we get  LT-Anthony Collins 6'-5" 315lbs via FA and go for a top WR in the 1st round while addressing the RT in 2-3 rounds. White is a good starter for the outside with a year under his belt, and resign Captain for the slot.

Draft

1st round- WR| -Kelvin Benjamin 6'-5" 240lbs

2nd round- RG| - Gabe Jackson 6'-3" 335lbs

3rd round- RT|- Ju'Wuan James 6'-6" 309lbs

4th round- TE|- Arthur Lynch 6'-5" 258lbs

5th round- CB|- Deion Belue  5'-11" 182lbs

6th round- WR| Kevin Norwood 6'-2" 198lbs

7th round- OLB|- Tyler Starr 6-4" 250lbs

QB- CAM | Anderson

OL- LT -Collins| LG -Amini| C -Kalil| RG-Jackson| RT -James

RB- Stewart| Williams|Barner

FB- Tolbert| Zordich

TE- Olsen| Williams

WR- Benjamin| Smith| Ginn| Norwood| Lafell

Base 4-3

DL:  R-DE Johnson | UT -Short | NT -Lotulelei | L-DE Hardy

LB:  OLB -Klein | MLB -Kuechly | OLB -Davis

He ran a good 40 and is a good athlete all around but i can see him getting beat on a double move because his hips were stiff and his transitions werent smooth. I'm sorry you don't see this. Maybe he had a bad day or a lingering injury from training in the off season, but i just simply wasnt impressed.

Well if Joe is saying the Panther's are talking about a long term deal then I'm expecting Hardy to be tagged. You know what I take that back. Joe has been dumped on enough. He's going to turn things around with this latest report and be spot on.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED!

Roby's hips were not stiff. Dennard was stiff.

This tells you how awesome football is... three major sports leagues are in the midst of their seasons and another is starting and there's much more interest in the business side of football teams than all of that combined.

Well yeah, I'm not even sure how people still watch baseball.

Baseball died with the strike in the 90's.  It pushed me away as a kid and I never went back.  i was a HUUUGE baseball nut as a kid.  I picked up College b-ball after that and then came the Panthers and my life was never the same.  Good riddance if you ask me.

Baseball is a patient person's game. You either get it, or don't. Football is great for people with short attention spans, as many people who go to games say there's more standing around waiting than there is actual action.

That said, correct me if I'm wrong of course, but I imagine most Panther fans are from the Carolina's. Therefore they might be a tad biased with no MLB team around to root for.

FYI, people outside of this country say the same thing about our football, as you just did about baseball. So congrats. You're soccer fans. :-P

In my country this is the greatest insult you can give someone.

Ah, a butt hurt baseball fan. Most everyone around the Carolina's is or was a Braves fan. I can't speak for the transplants but I was at least. Baseball broke my heart and I could never go back so keep your smug assumptions to yourself. I lost faith in baseball not my patience.
