My New 32 Team Mock (1st round)

Check it out, let me know what you think. It's the first 32 team mock I have ever done and it was tougher than I thought. Still early in the pre-draft process so anything is possible aright now.

Thoughts?

Also, if you are a good writer and interested in doing some sports journalism, let me know and I can get you writing and published on that website linked above!

Pretty good! Just a few thoughts.

1. I think you're really underestimating Timmy Jernigan. I'm willing to be that he'll go by the 20's.

2. Jason Verrett did well at the combine, but so did Bradley Roby. Teams will still be a bit worried about Verrett's stature, but Roby is a bit bigger. I think the latter will get pick first.

3. I'm personally not a big Matthews fan. He timed faster than he plays imo.

Good job.

Agree.

I believe that Jernigan will go much higher than that. Could possibly be the first DT off the board.

I like Matthews and would be excited with him at 28, but he did timed faster than he plays. He looks more like a 4.55 guy on the field. I believe that he'll have an impact as a rookie, but dont believe that he's BPA. Just my opinion, I would consider Verrett or Roby over Matthews. Verrett is about an inch smaller than Roby but he did tied for the 3rd best vertical jump at 39.0.

I think for sure that the Rams will be moving out from the 2 spot and Atlanta is the odds of favorite for a trading partner.

If Bortles goes one, Atlanta will most likely pull the trigger to move up to two and nab Clowney.  Just hope they give up a boat load of picks to do it.

I also think a couple teams are more in love with D Carr than Bridgewater or Manziel.  Cleveland, in particular, could take Watkins as they top playmaker and pick up Carr with their second pick.

Going to be a fun draft this year

Lots of people think Bortles has the build and connections with the Texans to be the number 1 pick.
