We needed another safety on the roster becuase we are about to cut Charles Godfrey and Mike Mitchell might not come back. We only had Colin Jones and Robert Lester on the roster.  (not including Godfrey)

I saw "Panthers sign safety..." on twitter and got excited that we finally locked one of our guys up... But then noticed it wasn't Mitchell but Russell.
