A FOOTBALL STOPPAGE of any kind whether it be a lockout (owners) or a strike (players).  We don't need another football stoppage.

point of the whole post was that we just had a football stoppage a couple years back but now we might have to do it all again.

 

Like I said, strike or lockout, I don't want either.  This particular one will most likely be a strike.

um in a free market people are paid what they're worth. who are you to decide if someone is overpaid

 

Totally agree when talking about players collectively. I assume that is what you are talking about.  For a specific player though,  I'd say its very easy to decide or argue that someone is over paid. There are all sorts of metrics for comparing actual prodcution. We can look at contracts of similar-tier players to see if a player's pay is in line with the market.

Sean Gilbert has a damn near almost straight uphill fight to get elected and then to actually get out of the CBA.  That thing has got be damn near air tight.
