This is why it's probably a bad idea to comment if you know little about football development.  How is 23 someone's athletic ceiling, let alone in football? This isn't you running around in your backyard pickup game.

 

Receivers can take years to develop, and Benjamin has played only 2 seasons of college football, with this year being his breakout year. The guy is very raw, and far from developed.

 

 

On that note however, I wouldn't take him in the first round, and I doubt you'd be hearing near as much about him if Florida State hadn't won the national championship and if he hadn't caught the game winner.

 

Meh, that's your opinion. Your last sentence goes along with my whole sentiment that the guy is overrated and a big time project. I just feel that we could could get better value on first 2 picks.

Benjamin is going to be raw.  This offseason will determine a lot for him.  If he has the mind and the determination to perfect his fundamentals he will be a monster.  To me he is sort of like a Cam Newton of receivers.

I think coachability plays a big part in why they draft him, if indeed he is the pick. Or for any pick for that matter. So, nvm.

Yupperz. We are going to need our first two picks to push for starting spots. Not sure KB fits that bill.

Would be a nice third round pick, but no way does he last that long.

The silver lining, if we do draft a WR in the first two rounds, and he does push for starter minutes, we are the better team for it.

Same with a LT. A first two round tackle would go a long way to solidify our Oline. I could live with that.

Not working out for a team because he was tired. Raw. Not the best hands. Not a great route runner. 23 years old.
