The article clearly says leaning towards... I mean... if you think hes wrong then let time tell the tale... We will know by Monday for sure. 

 

I still think tag is best move, for now, for the team.  And I trust DG to make the right moves.  He's been pretty good so far... tho he's bound to make a mistake or two going forward. So long as he stays upwards of 65% in the positive I think he will do OK... 70 and above would amazeballs.

Frankly I'd rather just be done with him. Trade him, tag him, let him walk..,..whatever.

 

Too much drama for this team. Hes got some fire, but I appreciate him more for being cool enough to interect with fans on this board than I do as some badass player. (and considering my time here and low post count really shows how much/little I care about that)

 

Seems like so much hype is given to him around here because of his half crazy persona rather than his actual play against teams. Same with Smith...seems like people make their opinions about him with only half of their actual play last season in mind (and in 89 case, a loyalty of time), and the other half with a personal afffection/interest in the "man" and not the "player"

Still crossing my fingers for a tag-and-trade.

I've posted this before but.....

In 2008 the Chiefs did a tag-and-trade with Jared Allen. He was a 4th year player coming off a 15.5 sack season. Very similar to Hardy. The Chiefs compensation in trade? First rounder along with 2 third rounders in that offseason's draft.

I don't think we'd get that much but the return would still be nice.

Based on nothing.  It's amazing how people can make statements like that; there is zero factual evidence to support that except his "gut" (whatever the hell that means).  But who needs facts or evidence....just go with your gut. lol.  But yeah, this is great news.  If everyone stays healthy our front 7  will be akin to Wyatt Earp and his Immortals; Thomas Davis can be Doc Holliday.
