With the news of Jordan retiring, how does the Panthers proceed in the Draft?

O-line was already a pretty pressing need, but so was WR. So now, how should we proceed?

I have to think we need to go Oline first and foremost. Can't get it to that new shiney WR if we don't have protection, nor run the ball.

Plus it's easier to find a good WR in later rounds than a big man (not that the panthers have ever been good at late round receivers here recently)

What are your thoughts.

I still think you take the best WR available in the first. Unless a top OT falls.

Regardless what happens to the line Cam needs weapons. We can scheme around an offensive line and at least have some patch work bullsht ready to go. At WR, talent is talent and we basically have none.

O-line was always one of our biggest needs. And we all knew (or should have known) Gross was going to retire either this year or the next. So LT was going to be something we went after.

But Getts has said over and over "Use FA to set up the draft so you can go BPA everytime" meaning I don't really think this will effect our draft one way or the other.

I expect us to draft O-Line, Secondary, and at least 1 WR if not two. And I bet we draft another LB and maybe DL. And that's what we were going to draft before Gross decided to reitre and I expect its what we do now.

I expect us also to pick up at least two O-linemen in FA and MAYBE 1 WR, as well as resigning the guys G-man wants to retain.

from what I've seen, i think this is the way it shakes out.
