Ron Rivera: "I'm confident we'll retain Greg Hardy"

we have one of the best offensive line coaches in the league with a lot of young talent at the guard positions.

There is FA and the draft.

Stop with the utter bullshit.

Following up what you are saying...

It'd take two pro-bowl offensive linemen to block Hardy if we had to play against him.

The Kraken is a face of the franchise that opposing teams have to game plan for.

We can get decent linemen through draft, practice squad and through FA...we ain't ever gonna get another Kraken or draft enough linemen to be able to keep him off Cam.

So yes, please stop with the utter bs about trading Hardy away for unproven prospects.

That's a great big giant capital F'ing "IF"

Agreed. Still to early in the process to know what where gonna do. I personally rather tag & trade him. He's a great talent just don't know he's worth the money he seems to be looking for. Filling multiple holes over one seems like a lot better plan. Are 3 biggest areas of weakness are the 3 deepest positions in this draft. Save money, help get us out of cap hell & plug a bunch of holes. If we keep him great wouldn't give him over 60 mil though

Wonder how confident he is now that he has a clusterf**ck of a offensive line (With Kalil being the only solid piece)?

The only thing that changed from last year is Gross gone. Rivera's a great defensive mind not offensive mind. We'll get OT in draft and 1 in FA. With all the cap room we now have, we'll be able to retain a lot of our pieces (including Hardy) and still make upgrades and should still do well in the draft. I'm excited to see what happens, but I am confident that we'll keep Hardy and still have a solid o-line, and increase in WR talent, and increase in secondary talent. We'll see...
