There is life after football, and Jordan's made the choice that allows him to do that happily and healthfully for a long time! Good for him! Was a blast to watch him on the line these past 11 years. I started watching during his rookie season, so he and Smitty obviously mean a lot to me as a part of that amazing 2003 season. Great career, Jordan!

Happy for him, and had a sneaky suspicion this was coming down the pike when he changed his contract around last year.

 

He will be sorely missed, and we will struggle because of this.

Tomorrow we say good-bye to probably the best Left Tackle in Panthers history. The hole on the O-line will be huge but not as huge as the hole in the locker room.

 

We all say thank you and good luck in whatever you do next in life, but you will always be a part of the Carolina Panther family. You will always have a home in the Carolinas.
