Bo was a beast, played 8 games a season and would rack up nearly 1000 yards. The only knock on him is the span of his career(2-3 years) You definitely have to consider longevity of said players career when stating a case for the best. I believe, had he stayed healthy, he "could've" been the best ever.

Tough question but I would argue for these guys, and you can arrange them in whatever order you want. Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Steve Van Buren, O.J. Simpson, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, Walter Payton, Thurman Thomas, Franco Harris, Marshall Faulk, Gale Sayers, Red Grange, Brian Mitchell, Bill Paschal, Joe Perry, Jim Nance, Leroy Kelly, Cookie Gilchrist, Curtis Martin, Tony Dorsett, and many others.
