I have been having a huge arguement with several of my co-workers this week about this. (This talk always happens during the off-season) So who do you think is the best running back of all time?

I say "Wally Sweetness" #34 Walter Payton

In my time of watching the NFL...Sweetness. He did it all. AND he was tough and durable and consistently productive even on ish teams. Boy I loved that man. He's the epitome of what an NFL player should be on and off the field.

I really believe if Gale Sayers had a longer career, he'd be in the team photo.

I like to include Earl Campbell in the top 5 because I loved the way that he would NOT avoid contact. But if you would see him now, he can barely walk when he is able to walk at all.

Best "football player" ever= Walter Payton(blocking,running, throwing, receiving, the man did it all)

Best "rb" ever= Barry Sanders(although I also believe he holds the record for negative yards as well)

Both played on a lot of poo teams with bad O-lines
