Guess who got 16 reps on the bench press today

As usual, if you offer anything remotely other than praise about a prospect, the fan boys come running.

So I want a taller WR for our franchise QB, obviously I just don't like Cooks. What a joke.

As usual, if a talented receiver under 6' is brought up, the detractors come running.

No one is saying we don't want a taller receiver either. I'd prefer a tall receiver too. But, if Cooks is available at 28 he is likely the best and most complete receiver on the board at face value. Just because we draft Cooks in round 1 does not mean we don't address the receiver position again a round or two after making him our first pick.

You're right, there's zero guys under six feet tall who are impact players in the NFL....

This is your argument? really? Go ahead, and list them off then.

Meanwhile, we've got a quarterback with one of the strongest arms in the NFL, yet people want to draft a midget for him to throw to.

I didn't say anything about him playing 12+ years in the NFL.

I simply made the point that he won't be getting younger from here on out.

You brought up time catching up to Steve Smith who has played many years in this league. That is why I brought up the 12+ years part. You brought up time and Steve Smith, so I brought up time and Cooks. Make sense?

No other player in this draft will be getting younger either, should we not draft them either?

Why is his height not a topic worthy of discussion?

I didn't say it wasn't, but the thread was first about how strong he is, plus mentions all his other pluses, and the fact that he shouldn't be overlooked (pun intended), because of his height.  Yet, you turn it into a referendum on height...yet again, notwithstanding that there are plenty of shorter successful WRs in the NFL.

Ever thought maybe, just maybe....you can have more than two Receivers on the field at a time? Or that part of the reason Cam throws high is because he doesn't always get time to set his feet and step into throws? People are so worked up on needing a big WR, when we really just need capable playmakers and protection for the QB.
