Bills Scout:Cyrus Kouandjio can say "goodbye" to round 1

According to the fact that the combine is just a glorified workout and real scouts and gms weigh game tape more than combine performance. Most gms and scouts are reactionary like everyone in the media

What about the fact a 300 lb+ guy has an arthritic knee at 20. He might not be able to walk at 25.

Watch his tape against OU and see him beaten like a drum. It was pitiful, I don't want him.

One game. Look at him during the meat of the season and there's a reason why he is considered a top 5 tackle.

Good thing you aren't a GM. You'd constantly be flip flopping on where to take a franchise based on games at a time.

His knee will be fine. There was that star guy who had a heart condition DID NOT WANT at 14 clearly 5th rounder now.

Stars heart condition was found to not be life threatening after further testing, teams were only scared because he still had that label and there is a general stigma attached to the label heart conditions.

Kouandjio has an arthritic knee, something we know a lot more about. There's no if's but' or maybe's, at some point in his life this will seriously affect his ability to walk, especially at that weight. It's just a guess as to whether it's during his playing career (which will likely aggravate the injury) or afterwards. With a knee like that it is highly likely that he will regularly half to ice his knee during the week and miss practice regularly to be able to play on Sundays.

If he had tested well at the combine then maybe you can overlook the arthritis as it is having no affect but with his scores from yesterday it looks like his knee is already deteriorating. I wouldn't spend more than a fifth on the guy. He's still very talented but its risk reward with that injury.

Yeah no. Some team doctors failed. Some team doctors passed him. Mayock still has him as a first rounder and if he shows better at his pro day every gm will forget about his combine performance. Tiny Richardsons knee is of more concern than Cyrus' is

I never liked him but thought he carried enough value at 28 for consideration, not anymore. I'm not gambling on a OT's knee when he's paid to push it through a maximum workload AND live about 300 lbs. Arthritis doesn't just go away and with a first round investment I'm certainly not rolling the dice that "it'll be ok".

Am I the only one who prefers different threads for prospects this team might be interested in, instead of searching through one thread dedicated to the combine. Few pages in a thread like that, has observation and details about how the player performed at the combine. The majority of the thread is the huddlers opinion on if the player will be suitable or not. It's the off-season and almost every thread in the main forum has been on the first page for about a week now. It dulls this place down, have a combine section so we can have threads to evaluate each player, if you're worried about clutter in the main thread.

Or at least separate threads by position.
