Jermichael Finley

Disagree. Having watched every Packer game last year (girlfriend is from Michigan and lovesssss her packers) the guy balled out.

Once he shut his mouth and just played he was as close to a top tier TE as there was in the league.

He was a YAC machine this past season. In a season when green bay had injuries throughout their receiving core he stepped up big.

25/300/3 over five games (including the one he was almost paralyzed in after a half) is pretty damn good.

Project that over a full season and you get 80/960/9.

Anyone who wouldn't want that production from a TE on this team is insane. He would be a welcome addition to this squad and instantly improve the offense. If he's affordable then sign him up.

He seems like a guy that Gettleman would ask about. Gettlemann said that just like last season, he will target guys in FA that are not demanding exorbitant amounts of money, but FA that have been looked over, given up on, or looking for something to prove. (i.e. Mitchell, Ginn, Mikel) I do agree that Finley does fit the mold and I think that if the Packers wanted him back, they would have definitely already have had him signed. Unless there is a situation where Finley would be demanding more money than they are willing to give. I think that Finley is thinking he is worth much more than what the market will pay and will be testing Free Agency to figure that out. I do not expect the Panthers to sign him unless all other 31 teams have given up on him being the featured TE on a team. I do not think he would take a paycut to play second fiddle to Olsen.
