Falcons and Clowney. Dimitroff possibly setting the stage.

Texans need to send their second to DC for Cousins and take Clowney first.

However, I don't really care if Clowney goes to ATL or not.

I think it's telling that the Redskins ending up asking for a 2nd, the Browns need a QB and have multiple picks AND Kyle Shanahan as their OC, yet they didn't offer to get Kirk Cousins. From the outside looking in, that looks suspicious. If anyone knows Cousins, it would be Shanahan.

I would laugh my ass off if Atlanta keeps trying to Mike Ditka it and mortgage all of their picks for 1 guy. Please do it. I hope that they keep making decisions like they are only 1 player away from a Super Bowl. I would bet anything that Rivera and Gettleman will not draft any differently based upon what the Falcons do. The Panthers just need to take care of business and make our team stronger.

I would be surprised if the Texans don't select Clowney, but I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas Dimitroff doesn't have that notion floating around in his head. I suppose it would depend upon how much he is willing to sacrifice. We all know that he is aggressive, but he is willing to trade up per nfl.com.

Jadeveon Clowney in the NFC South? How does that change the thinking at 28?

OT , Kouandjio stock is falling after the combine and we might be in position to draft him. Put him at the RT for this season with return of Gross at LT and we should have a solid  OL across the board with

LT -Gross / LG -Amini / C -Kalil / RG -Kugbilla / RT -Kouandjio

You need to be strong up the middle---we can run away from Clowney.

However, Houston could return to dominance rather quickly with Clowney beside Watt.  The QBs are not good enough for you to skip a player like Clowney.  I think McCarron or Carr will be there at #33.

clowney vs our new rookie LT?

fug no.

I see houston taking him or manziel. bortles to jags.

fug atlanta if they do get him.. Cam having to worry there is someone faster than him coming around the edge every play is not easy on the mind. I'll bet anyone money he has more sacks than any other rookie d lineman in the division if he is...
