The Official NFL Combine Thread

I totally agree that this is one heck of a crop, just realizing that we could get a possible #2 possession WR at our third pick and that the elusive #1will not be there with our first pick and because of that, the OL prospects may have a day 1 starter and bigger impact out the gate when our first selection comes around.

I think Marqise Lee will be the best pro in this draft class barring injuries.  We would be very lucky to have him drop into our laps at 28.

IDK about best pro in the class (he could be, but right now I have Watkins and OBJ ahead of him), but I agree we would be extremely lucky to add a talent like Marqise at 28.

Until USC shows they can produce good pro receivers I don't want to take a chance on one. It's not lazy, it's siding with history.

Jack Robert Woods didn't have a bad year last year and he had QB play problems all year.

I have to disagree about Lee he is a talent and would be a nice pick-up for this team.

With the Stock of Cyrus dropping there might not be more then 4 OT with 1st round grades.

But I agree we might be able to get Wr's who can develop into 1's in the 2nd and 3rd round.

I'm just really excited about how this draft matches up so well with our needs.

I'm kind of shocked at the lack of excitement with Brandin Cooks. This kid can flat out ball. He ran the fastest 40, put up a solid bench number, looked great in the drills, and was the Biletnikoff Award Winner. This kid is going to be a special player in the NFL. His one negative is his size and if you watch him play he has a catch radius that is outstanding. If he reaches 28 he is a no-brainer pick.

Agree 100%. If he's 3-4" taller there's a chance he's the first WR taken.

I definitely would not be opposed to Cooks. If he had a few inches on him he'd be challenging Watkins as the best WR in this draft.

If we do see Cooks in a Panther's uniform...we better hope Shula can properly implement him into the offense and get him the ball in creative ways to maximize his potential in our offense. Also, if we select Cooks, I hope we draft a big bodied receiver as well to compliment him.
