The Official NFL Combine Thread

Xavier Su'a Filo is going to be a stud. Too bad he won't be there in the 2nd when we pick :/

Can play some tackle, and is dominant as a guard. Moves really well, good footwork, and a smart player.

28th is probably a stretch but Gettleman may take a look at him. Seems like the type of player he likes if you read the first link.  I'm being a biased UCLA fan but damn I want him.

The more I watch him the more I like him. He stood out today. Wouldn't be mad if we took him at 28; just wondering if we'd put him or Amini over at RG (and if either would work there)

What is with the affinity of Ebron? We have Olsen. Even if he falls. I don't see a need for TE.

Oh I disagree. He's a dangerous receiver, a better blocker than Olsen and creates match up nightmares for D's. Cam also thrived in the 2 TE system his rookie year.

Extra benefit to a TE is blocking ability, even if it's just a chip or a rub on the way out.

The QB stuff will be quite boring today because only Bortles seems to be throwing.  I actually hope he stands out since he is taking the risk and participating.

(12:01 AM): One out of three ain’t bad, but it ain’t all that good either !!! After waffling for several weeks. Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater as announced that he won’t throw at today’s positional drills for skill players at the scouting combine in Indianapolis. Bridgewater will run the 40, but won’t throw until the Cardinals’ pro day in the middle of March. Bridgewater will join Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel on the sidelines at today’s workout, while Central Florida’s Blake Bortles, the third of this year’s big three QBs will participate in the combines passing drills. Fresno State’s Derek Carr and A.J. McCarron of Alabama have also indicated that they won’t throw today. Today’s physical testing for the QBs, RBs, and WRs gets underway at 9 AM ET with coverage again on the NFL Network. We’ll also be blogging the days highs and lows. And while the skill position players do their on-field thing, the defensive linemen and LBs Will do the bench press, while the defensive backs get their week underway with orientation and preliminary medical testing.
