Spirit Airline: You get what you pay for / Never fly Spirit

I dont think its the airlines fault for you wanting to change a ticket you already bought.  They have cheaper prices for a reason.  You booked a seat that otherwise could have been sold to someone else. Now the airline will most likely have an empty seat on the plane and lose money and you dont think you should incur any fee to change your ticket?  You realize airlines dont make a ton of money on flights after they pay pilots/flight attendants and for fuel.  They have to fill the plane to make a profit.  If they let everyone just change their tickets with no penalty they wouldnt make a dime.

Birth control is indeed a necessity. I keep a handy set of stairs nearby at all times. Never know when somebody will need a little "nudge", so to speak.

Like Delhommey said Ryan is the worse. They tried to get a law allowing people to be standing during the whole flight so they could sell more tickets.  Spirit is the cheapest of the cheap in the US with Allegiant right behind them. Spirit makes their money from all the auxillary fees (bags, ticket changes, selling drinks and food onboard).  Change is actually cheaper than Delta though Delta change fee is $150 online and $300 if you call.
