I don't remember them actually showing her dead, though. Granted, I haven't watched any of season 1 since that episode, so I might just not remember.

Of course the writers can spin her death however they want but even if she lives it won't be as good as Batiatus. Aside from Spartacus, Batiatus was the most compelling character.

It didn't show her stop breathing. It just showed her impaled in the gut by a long ass sword...from which she collapsed from at the end. Of course we all know how well advanced medical science was over 2000 years ago, so she should be up and about in no time.

Episode two (2nd season) was a trip. I'm more into the 2nd season than i was the 1st. I kind of already knew what happened with Spartacus, Knew there was going to be an escape. I have no idea where season two is headed and i love it.

Personally I'm not a big fan of how they entwine the porn/gory violent scenes. Wish they'd just keep them separate.

Love the show. S2 is off the a great start. I really like Gannicus, dude is a complete badass. I prefer him to Spartacus. I to will be sad when this season is over since Batiatus will be done. John Hannah is great in that role.
