i think fridays finale will make it where spartacus teams up with crixus with a plan to overthrow batiatus, and it will build up a lot of suspense and then END the credits scroll, season two will be about the rebellion

I just heard about this and was heading to this thread to post it, beat me to it lol, season 2's production was supposed to start at the end of march but because of this they are postponing it, looks like they planned for the series to start back up as fast as possible since the show has gotten such a following. Just hope he gets through it.

non-hodgkin lymphoma is very treatable if caught early. From reading, it looks like he lucked out by having "it" discovered as soon as he did.
