wilt vs bill was like Godzilla vs Bambi...bill being bambi.  wilt average 50 points and 25 rebs per game PER GAME!!!, at halftime he had what great players get in a whole game.

bill got the rings, which are great. ask anyone not team green wilt or bill, if they understand wilt would be the pick.

Wilt got those stats vs. the bums he was way taller than. bill got the better of him when they went head to head.

I did not either till i saw this awesome show. Also there is a closed off museum in the back of Lincoln's head.. Explains the sculptors bio and his beliefs.

Also it was to honor the prezes but there is a dark side to it very few realize.

Wilt averaged 30.1 for his career, in his prime he averaged closer to 40 and 25 a game.

In wilt's second season he averaged 50 and 25. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/chambwi01.html?mobile=false

Again...

Michael Jordan is the only basketball player in history to average over 30 points per game for his entire career.

Reg season:

Wilt: 30.1

Jordan: 30.1

Playoffs:

Wilt: 22.5

Jordan: 33.4

Nobody cares that Wilt averaged 50/25 played against guys that were over a foot & 80 pounds smaller than him.

Jordan averaged 41 pts, 9 reb, 6 ast in the '93 Finals.

Jordan averaged 46 pts, 6 reb, 6 ast in the '86 playoffs.

Jordan averaged 37/5/5, 35/6/6, 33/8/8, 33/7/6 in four consecutive years.

Bill Russell is an all-time great and hall of famer but...

The NBA before the 80s (and particularly before the ABA merger) was played at a different level. I think most college teams today could beat those great Celtics teams in the 60s

Agreed.

Of all the old school guys, Julius Erving is the biggest exception, IMO. He was Jordan before there was a Jordan.

welllllllllll, since michael is only 30 point career average, all while you listed wilt another 30 average....... so yeaaaaaaAAAA this is pointless

but i believe in batman.... no one cares about his average? hmmmmm ok

if wilt was taller and bigger than his comp, well mj was faster and could jumper high than his comp so......... it gos both ways. wilt could only compete against the players of his his era. same for mj, the "hes bigger and better" talk is very funny.

wilt DESTROYED bill in head-to-head play, please go back to and check the box stats. wilt put 45 points. 24 rebs, 2 blks, 3 assists, 1 stls on bill just like anyone else. i mean its not like team game planned against wilt, cause wilt had others that averaged 50 points too.... or not.

mj brought the nba to the next level/s and no question belongs on the top four. wilt put up video game like stats before video games where a thing. No team/person could stop him. mj has stopped by white women and gambling.

I guess reading comprehension isn't a strong quality for you...

Wilt: 29.1

Jordan: 30.6
