I think it'll look good.

Forgot they had white pants... Pewter helmets were unique while half the league wears white helmets, so I still don't like, but it's the Bucs so I don't really care.

I could see the old red flag logo on a white helmet with a red stripe running down the middle, but not that. 

 

I'm also fascinated to know how they get past a chrome facemask creating a glare in the players eyes on a sunny day?

I agree, I think it's all rumors at this point. But the one being floated around looks like a college football team logo at best. I don't think they would be silly enough to take the flag out entirely, of course nothing would surprise me though. Chrome face mask is puzzling to me as well, but hey, whatever works for them.
