Whoever ends up trading with the Cats will end up a winner. Sacrificing 1st rd picks and cap space to try and make the playoffs. Repeat of the Wallace/Jackson years...ugh.

Everyone they have been tied to has an expiring contract . Hayward would be a better situation then any other player linked to Charlotte.

 

It's hard for me to assume that he'll stay here. I get that he has a relationship with Al Jefferson, but still a lot of teams are going to pursue him after the season compared to Evan Turner imo.

If Rick Bonnell is calling the Evan Turner deal dead then Turner will be a bobcat.

At this point I hope they just stay put and try to make the playoffs with the team they have.

 

It's one thing to try and get a Greg Monroe or Aaron Afflalo, but all the Evan Turner and now Gary Neal talk makes me think they should just take their chances with the draft and free agency.  Even if they make the playoffs there is still the Pistons pick and even Portlands pick on top of having enough to offer a big contract to a free agent if they want.

Yes if they do something similar to the McBob deal where they do not give up draft picks then I would be good with bringing in Gary Neal.
