Bobcats Trade Deadline Thread

I've said it before that I would love Paul Gasol. Even though, Gasol is a bit older he's still playing at a high level. He still got a good 2-3 years left. A front court of Gasol and Jefferson would be hard for any team to defend in the Playoffs. That's the best chance for us to have any chance of beating the Pacers or Heat.

Im just confused, probably more pissed by what the Front Office is doing. They're all over the place. We've been linked to like a dozen names already. Make me feel like they're just trying to make a move to sell more tickets (fans) than actually trying to win. I'm sick this crap.

Yeah I don't like this. It really seems like the front office is trying to make a trade just for the sake of making a trade.

Is it? We could've just let him walk and now we're throwing out assets just to get rid of him.

Yes it is, he should have never been resigned for that amount. He doesn't fit the teams system or in the starting lineup with kemba and mkg.

I agree he doesn't fit and would prefer trading him, but the thought of trading him and wasting a pick for cap space and nothing else - when we could've just let him walk for cap space - is mind-numbing.

I agree, but it would sadly be worth it for the Portland pick.

I haven't heard anything about him being available.

The Celtics have expressed some interest in acquiring Utah's Gordon Hayward, a league source tells CSNNE.com. Hayward, who starred for Celtics head coach Brad Stevens while at Butler, will become a restricted free agent this summer after he and the Jazz could not come to terms on an extension this past fall. Hayward would likely cost more since Utah would want to re-sign him, unlike Philly with Turner. I do like him and his fit though, his numbers are down but perhaps reuniting him with Al could help.

Ben Gordon and Det Pick for Gordan Hayward, would you do it?

I think we will trade Ben Gordon for josh smith straight up. Especially if they lose to us tonight. They are desperate to get rid of him and keep the better younger player in Monroe.

We then trade Portland pick along with something else for Evan turner.

Now granted it doesn't fix the shorting problems we have but that is a talented lineup. Josh smith can hit the jumpers that zeller misses.

Kemba

Turner

MKG

Josh smith

Big Al

And the second unit instantly become pretty nice with biyonbo zeller Henderson sessions and tolly

I don't know how I feel about this lineup. But it would definelty be a splash for the new hornets team. Hell we could possible then trade the Detroit pick for a shooter. Or hold on to it and draft a shooter.

Just gotta feeling this will happen.
