Ticket prices, which have remained the same the past four years, will increase this year by $2 to $21 depending on the section, with nearly two-thirds (66 percent) of the stadium seeing an increase of $2 to $5. The largest increase affects 2,400 (3 percent) midfield lower level seats. Even with the increase, the Panthers' average ticket price still ranks among the lower half of all NFL teams.

Just kidding.

No issue with inflationary increases and the biggest ones will hit corporate clients. Makes sense after a playoff run.

My Giants friends tell me how much they pay for PSLs and it can be huge

No - the biggest increase will not affect just corporate clients.  It affects me and most of the people I know who sit around me are just people who have PSLs.  A $21 increase is HUGE.  I'm sure they can expect even more of those tickets to go on sale in the secondary market - it's about the only way you can afford to pay for the tickets.

And according to the Scott Fowler article, sales tax is on top of that.  Crazy increase.  $109 to $139.43

I was assuming that the $21 would be in silver section but I'm guessing you are in like 110-113 or a similar seat?

I met a Cowboy fan today from Oklahoma who stated that he likes Jerry Jones.  We were interviewing him for a job.  After the interview, I was asked, "Why did you ask him about the owner of the Cowboys?"  I told them that it told me 3 things about him:

1.  He is VERY loyal (said he had been a Cowboy fan for 40 years)

2. He is also a bad evaluator of talent (anyone who is a lifelong fan cannot like Jones)

3. He was not honest. (see #2)

Feel better about JR?

The food price index more than doubles in 10 years and nobody notices. People continue to move farther away from their places of employment and insist on driving full sized SUVs. Smart phones cost nearly 1500 a year and nobody questions it. Pay a little more every 4 years for something thay is a not neccesary and it's a catastrophy and conspiracy.

As ticket prices, parking prices, and concession prices keep going up it becomes more attractive for folks to watch at home.  At some point football is going to price themselves out of the market.  I am not sure how much longer I can justify spending 3,000 dollars for 10 games of football for 3 tickets and associated costs.
