Wyoming WR Robert Herron

One of my personal favorite wideouts in the draft. If we double-dip at WR, which I think we should, Herron could be an interesting late rounder to steal. Although I think his stock is slowly on the rise.

 

Reminds me a lot of Steve, moreso than a lot of these other guys people are trying to compare Steve to. He has good but not great hands, but he's aggressive, has an endless motor, is ridiculously speedy, will go and grab balls over the middle, and is great in the open field. Only 5'9 though.

I wouldn't say smitty 2.0 bc I don't say that about anyone, but I certainly wouldn't mind a fourth or below on this kid. And if Landry does fall to the second somehow I'd love him

Had him in the 5th in my mock, but he opened a lot of eyes at the Senior Bowl, so my 5th round is probably out the window now.

Those are some sharp cuts...  I saw a video on SI.com about his earlier today.  Good story, seems like a nice kid, very motivated it seems.

 

As far as where he goes, who knows, but I wouldn't mind him in a Carolina uniform.  Looks like very good acceleration and explosive cuts.
