If they weren't such an historic franchise, they'd be one of the teams I'd love to see get folded.

thats what i dont get...for a team rich in history like theirs you would think they would go all out

they are sh1tting on their fans....whatever they have left anyways

I actually like the Wilson trade and the direction they are headed. Previous front office absolutely ripped the minor league system bare. They are building in the right direction. Wilson is a great defensive SS but no bat. Ian Snell has been a head case for the last 2 yrs. Basically telling pitching coaches that he would not listen to them for any reason at all. They will finish ubder 500 again this year but if they keep doing what they are doing will be competitive in 2-3 yrs. You heard it from me first.

I love looking at what their team would have been had they not made all these trades.

Bay-McClouth-Nady

Ramirez-Wilson-Sanchez-LaRoche

Put those 8 guys out there everyday and your team is a playoff contender.

Wrong. You aren't a playoff contender with Zach Duke and Ian Snell and Paul Maholm as your 1-2-3

Who is Ramirez???

    • And those teams would lose. ------- I'm no Bryce Stan, but I have problem giving him his due. Sure, he has sucked so bad that his stats pre-benching are dragging what he's been able to do since, particularly the last three games, but to act like he hasn't actually looked like a QB with real promise for the last month is simply dishonest. All of a sudden (or not), certain Huddlers act like they have no concept of improvement---like they're suffering an inability to compartmentalize games or a group of games, or the inability to mentally separate Bryce's play when juxtaposed against the rest of the team. That's what analysis is all about. From my observation over the now decades of being here, I know that some of you can do it better than you're letting on. Just be honest about Bryce's improvement. He still may not be the future, but based upon his improvement the last month, it's rational to say that he just may have earned a chance to at least compete for the job next season. Of course he has to keep improving and show a level of consistency for the remainder of this season...
    • Missed kicks, a fumble, and a defense that breaks at the very worst time killed us
    • Bryce Young has arrived. I haven't been this excited in years.
