Riley Cooper would you want him

Surely there's a support group somewhere that these "cracker is just as bad as the n word" guys can join for other white people who have been subjected by minorities to the word known as cracker.

Maybe they can also discuss how slavery is over, and that black people should just hurry up and accept it already, and move on.

Of course that would basically be a KKK meeting, but hey, "freedom of speech!", am I right?

I think it was probably a VERY humbling experience to have to face his teammates after saying such offensive things.  Not sure if it was life changing, but I figure his perspectives on race have changed quite a bit.

The fact that he flourished with the team would probably speak for the progress he made.

He will not be a cheap guy however, so nevermind.  The fact that many teams want him probably shows that he did make amends

come on stirs i know riley cooper is the classic redemption story of a guy threatening every (slur just as bad as cracker) at a kenny chesney concert before going on to have a relatively mediocre year given his team's crazy offensive system but cool your jets and put the best interests of the panthers ahead of your need to root for wealthy white hicks that get drunk and forget where they are

Relatively mediocre compared to what?

Relatively mediocre compared to what?

The teams crazy offensive production came from the running game

desean jackson had no problem putting up video game numbers

meanwhile cooper ranked 41st in drop rate and a "pedestrian" 1.59 yards per route run (both stats from pff), 82nd in the league in receptions, and 38th in receiving yards despite defenses being forced to account for mccoy and to a lesser extent jackson, in a contract year, after being the definition of a scrub for the 3 years prior

i'd take him for really cheap as a 3rd option but some dumbass team is going to pay this dude and probably be stuck with a pumpkin who could potentially disrupt the locker room

I didn't know 87 1300 and 9 were "video game numbers" those sound like normal no1 receiver option numbers to me.

Cooper had more yards per rec than Jackson and only had 1 touchdown less then Jackson while receiving 41 less targets than Jackson. I will however concede he does drop a lot of passes from time to time and that should be looked at but to act as if it's mediocre is completely disingenuous.

Also does being in a contract year some how make you in overall better player? If so someone clearly forgot to tell Lafell.

Let me ask you this GS, honestly who do you think is better Lafell or Cooper?

Well now you've gone, and done it GS. Prepare for a firestorm from the Cooper fanboys.

If by firestorm you mean presenting facts about his production and not making it a solely personal off the field issue then yes a firestorm is coming.

If you have something to say next time quote me instead of passive aggressively trying taking pot shots
