I don't care where the first round pick is spent as long as it's spent on the offense. of course i have my preferences but, anything on defense outside of of corner would be overkill. I Agree defense wins championships but sometimes you gotta slug it out on offense as well.

It may be, but you should always be careful about highlight reel scouting. It can be misleading.

I much prefer 'full game' highlights.

I know, but you could also argue that college highlights can highlight potential. Sure, it doesn't tell the entire story, but it shows you what they can do. And we need guys that can make a game changing play.

I know, but you could also argue that college highlights can highlight potential. Sure, it doesn't tell the entire story, but it shows you what they can do. And we need guys that can make a game changing play.

 

The problem is every guy can make a game changing play....IN COLLEGE. I could take some of the biggest busts in the history of the NFL and put together highlight packages that made you say All-Pro. It's what they do outside of the highlights, and even more so the stuff that doesn't show up in games (work ethic, character, drive/passion and other intangibles) that make the difference.
