Philbin is on his way out soon, I don't think he's a very good head coach. The way he handled that whole Martin/Incognito mess only cemented concerns about his abilities.

Not to mention trading away Brandon Marshall was unbelievably dumb.

I've got to believe that rivera would never have let things get to that level nor would the rest of the guys in that lockerroom.

i always saw slater as a nicholson wannabe....didn't care. if he was in a movie i was going to watch it back in the day.

I agree, for as much criticism as Rivera has received, you can't knock him on that front at all. He knows players, and the players respect him immensely as can be pretty plainly seen, and that's not just limited to our own roster either.

The comparison isn't about going back in ancient history. Hickey has just come on as the new GM. The point is that the writer sees some general comparisons, and hopes that the Dolphins will try and do this off season what we did last off season, and get similar results once the 2014 regular season rolls along that we had in the 2013 season.

Well, a "general comparison" could be made between many teams in the league.

Again, I think next season the Dolphins could very well end up hiring yet another head coach.

Soooo... we're the middle child at this point in time? Well, I can't complain. At least we're something. Being little brother to The Hawks is fine (they have a killer defense and one classy QB) but I want us to beat them next season.
