Greg Hardy is an immature manchild losing fans everyday

Hardy can say and act how he wants. If ya don't like what he's saying, don't read his stuff. Don't follow him on twitter or Instagram. Money is obviously important to the guy, which is why he keeps talking about it. Don't like it? Piss off. Simple.

I really don't care what he tweets.if he stays with us I don't think he will play with any less passion or enthusiasm.

His recent polarizing behavior scares me into thinking that maybe he'll only ball out on contract years.  I'm not sure.  We could probably get one of Cleveland's 1st for him.  I think they have somewhere in the area of 30 million in cap space and two first rounders.  I'm not sure what base defense they're gonna be running up there though.

I think it's a 3-4. However, that squad is undergoing changes... again. So who knows what they'll be later this year. I prefer Gordon for Hardy but trades like that are exceptionally rare.

Who wouldn't love that trade.  I think they'd be dumb to do it though.  But hey....they are the Browns.

You're missing the whole point. No shame in trying to get paid, but it's in bad taste to publicly obsess over it---put it on blast. That's tacky and counterproductive when you're dealing with professional-minded people. Furthermore, it can be sickening to hear people always talking about the same poo over and over again like a broken fuging record (and it doesn't have to matter what they're talking about---good or bad).

Hardy needs to really man up (a.k.a. mature up), and talk eye to eye with the man that matters if he wants to actually effect change: Dave Gettleman.

That's the real "Bingo!"

So let me get this straight.  We praise a 25 year old kid (yes he is still a kid) for his wacky sense of humor with Kraken and Hogwarts references because we think it is funny, but rip him because he is relishing in the fact that he is about to become a multimillionaire.  I dont get it???

I personally would not outwardly behave this way but I am not Greg Hardy and really dont want to pass judgement on him.  What makes Greg Hardy Greg Hardy is that he says what he is thinking regardless of what people think.  Unfortunately he does not filter his comments to suit your tastes and you have to take the good with the bad.

As far as manning up with DG I believe he has an agent he pays to take care of the eye to eye stuff.

25 years old is not a "kid" in the purest sense of the word. At that age, a person is a "grown-up". 25 is not 20 which is not 15. Anyway, letting your agent handle your business goes without saying.  The eye to eye stuff is a metaphor. OK?  I stand by my opinion that he should be professional and basically shut the hell up, confer with his agent, let his agent do his bidding, and keep his comments fairly general and vanilla to the public---if say anything at all.  Business is business!  Antics and Hyperbole are unnecessary and counterproductive when dealing with professionally-minded people.

BTW, I never did "get" the Hogwarts crap, but I'm 46 years old.

Enjoy the discussion!

1.  Much like the eye for an eye comment, "kid" was a metaphor.  He is a grown man but is 25 years old but he does not versed in business or business deportment.  He just knows he is going to be a multimillionaire soon.

2.  I respect your opinion even if I put forth a counterpoint.  For what its worth if it were me I would act exactly how you suggest.

3.  Asking GH to be general and vanilla is like asking a lion not to roar.

4.  We agree 100% on the Hogwarts stuff.

I am in my early 40s and the business-like approach you talk about is exactly the way I would act.  But I stand by my comment.  Greg Hardy is Greg Hardy and this is what you should expect.  I know its over the top flamboyant but he is just being himself.

What makes Hardy great is his unstable character.  He's a great player and will most likely continue to be a great maybe elite passrusher on another team...I just don't see him staying here.  I wish him the best, I wish we could make it work....but gotta have the next man step up now.  KEEP POUNDING!
