Greg Hardy is an immature manchild losing fans everyday

This is the worst reply I saw. Most fans are fans for more than just their on field play. What they do off the field gains then more respect and fans or turns off more people. I love me some krsken but smf said it right. Once is enough, people know what he wants. He's beginning to look like a douche. I hope he goes and brings us some picks. He's not worth top de money.

To me, that's a fuging weird way to enjoy a sport man. You honestly give a poo about every single players' personal life and how moral they are? fuging weird. You watch braveheart and think it sucks cause Mel Gibson is a psycho? Weird. I just want this team to win it all and play like beasts and that is directly related to how they play on the field, nothing more, not their moral compass or salary. I just can't comprehend or understan why anything but winning makes 2 fugs of a difference so I guess I can't really argue here.

lololol

I've made it clear in almost every post of mine in this thread that I don't care if Hardy wants as much money as possible. Unless you're the guy who created Flappy Bird, you're going to do the same thing. This thread is entirely in response to how he's gone about doing it. Also, can you name another player that's gone on and on and on and on and on about money like Hardy has? You say this happens in every contract negotiation, let's see a list then.

if you don't care, then why make your post to begin with?

why should it matter to me how he goes about it, so you are down to critiquing style of a player?

I'm sorry I have better things to do then creep on the kraken through his bathroom window as he updates his twitter as he poo's golden bricks.

your OP just got more pathetic if that's what you started it as.

Pie this point.  But I will take it a step further.  I dont play in the NFL but yet I want to make as much money as possible.  A lot of people, truth be told believe the same thing.  We live in what one can consider a capitalistic society whose economic model basically state that man acts in his own best interest and the overall premise is to maximize wealth.  If a guy is making $30.00 an hour and somebody comes along and says hey, you do a good job I will pay you $60.00 an hour (doing the same exact job) and he is in his right mind he will take the job.

I think people get caught up in the zeros and an alternate reality of team loyalty when looking at Free Agents rather than looking at it from a real perspective.    At the end of the day, Greg Hardy is a capitalist and rightly so, will get paid what he deserves.

Bingo

We live in America people, a man has a right to get paid what he deserves

You're missing the whole point. No shame in trying to get paid, but it's in bad taste to publicly obsess over it---put it on blast. That's tacky and counterproductive when you're dealing with professional-minded people. Furthermore, it can be sickening to hear people always talking about the same poo over and over again like a broken fuging record (and it doesn't have to matter what they're talking about---good or bad).

Hardy needs to really man up (a.k.a. mature up), and talk eye to eye with the man that matters if he wants to actually effect change: Dave Gettleman.

That's the real "Bingo!"

IMO, playing out your salary demands in the media is bush league. Let your agent do his job and keep out of it.

I don't care what he thinks he is worth. Everyone from fans to FO personnel know what he is worth. There is no reason to be harping on this. To me it is bad form.

I wouldn't care if he was on First Take talking about himself. Or NFL Live answering questions about his game. But when salary comes up, just decline to talk about it. Or better yet, let folks know that is what your agent is for.

Unless something totally surprising happens, he ain't gonna be here next year. And him talking about money is pretty much putting a nail in that coffin. Not to mention how this makes him look to the rest of the league. He very well can turn himself into a piranha.

Me first type players don't play well in a sport where teamwork is so important. It is going to be difficult for Hardy to win over his new teammates when they think all he cares about is the money.

tl/dr version. Hardy needs to think before he hits the send button. There are repercussions to being viewed as a money grubbing player.

No. If you work a job and some guy you are outperforming makes 8 or 10 times what you make, sooner or later you will be annoyed and want more. Football is also brutal. Get your money now.

Johnson worked for an idiot boss.

That idiot has been fired.

Carolina is a great place to play currently especially if you want to win.

If that's the case find a way to fit in.

Otherwise, enjoy Oakland.

Either way we're moving on.

He deserves to get paid, and I really hope that's with Carolina.

Unfortunately this is a business, and because of some dumb contracts we might have to part ways with the Kraken because we simply have no choice.

If he's not with us I hope he ends up with a great team that won't take him for granted... and is in the AFC.
