Greg Hardy is an immature manchild losing fans everyday

You know what your problem is? You give a fug about what he is doing outside of football. Who gies a poo?

I am a football fan and Panther fan. I don't care about choir boys on the team, or badasses, or dumbasses, or greedy mutherfugers. These guys aren't dating my sister. Play good football and I'm in.

Stop involving yourself with the personal life of the players and start enjoying the game for what it is.

It's kind of like actors and hollywood. If they can act and make a good film, nice. Don't deprive enjoying it because you don't like their personal life. Who the fug cares, you have no personal connection with them.

This is the worst reply I saw. Most fans are fans for more than just their on field play. What they do off the field gains then more respect and fans or turns off more people. I love me some krsken but smf said it right. Once is enough, people know what he wants. He's beginning to look like a douche. I hope he goes and brings us some picks. He's not worth top de money.

Greg Hardy should let his agent take care of the business end and let said agent perform the job he is being paid to do.No matter how much Greg talks about wanting a vast sum of  money, if he thinks he will break the bank, it will be with another team and not the Panthers. G man is not Hurney, so Hardy be aware.

Pepper greatness? Peppers was never great just flashes.

He is 25 years old. This will most likely be his biggest contract of his career.  Should he slow down on the chatter? Yes, but the man should be paid.

I ain't mad at him.  He's worked hard, now comes the payoff.

I see like one or two tweets over the past month that vaguely reference money. One was a retweet of the article and the other a retweet of a fan saying he should cash in.

I agree it is tacky but not out of place for these guys

He's been doing it way more than just the past month, it's all over his Instagram too. And the whole gist of any interview he's given since October is KRAKEN WANT MONEY.

Soooo…. your first time actually watching a high profile player during a contract negotiation? get over yourself.

I said right after the season ended that there were going to be quit a few fans that are going to take things way too personal when they start getting to the negotiating contracts and look at you.

Greg Hardy is about to hit the lottery he knows it(it's also something he's worked very hard for) heck everyone in the NFL knows it, he's excited about this and I would be excited about this if I was in his shoes and so would you. pretending otherwise is purely laughable.  this same type of animosity towards people was going around during the lockout when it was millionaires versus billionaires, guys quit bitching because someone is going to make more money then you could ever dream of spending it's straight up being a cry baby.

with all that said I say it's highly likely that hardy is leaving here and I give the chances of him actually staying at maybe 10% but c'est la vie, and this isn't the first time that something like this has happened(remember Moose) and it won't be the last.

lololol

I've made it clear in almost every post of mine in this thread that I don't care if Hardy wants as much money as possible. Unless you're the guy who created Flappy Bird, you're going to do the same thing. This thread is entirely in response to how he's gone about doing it. Also, can you name another player that's gone on and on and on and on and on about money like Hardy has? You say this happens in every contract negotiation, let's see a list then.

Why do people who aren't about to get a crap load of money always have so much to say about people who are? After all his hard work he deserves to get paid, and he is excited about it. If I were 25 and about to become a multimillionaire I'd be fugin' excited too.

Again, name me some other players that have done this then. IF they exist, they're probably universally disliked.

In all honesty, if I played in NFL I would want to make as much money as possible.

No shame on his game, if you were a 6'4 265lb DE you would do the same thing

Pie this point.  But I will take it a step further.  I dont play in the NFL but yet I want to make as much money as possible.  A lot of people, truth be told believe the same thing.  We live in what one can consider a capitalistic society whose economic model basically state that man acts in his own best interest and the overall premise is to maximize wealth.  If a guy is making $30.00 an hour and somebody comes along and says hey, you do a good job I will pay you $60.00 an hour (doing the same exact job) and he is in his right mind he will take the job.

I think people get caught up in the zeros and an alternate reality of team loyalty when looking at Free Agents rather than looking at it from a real perspective.    At the end of the day, Greg Hardy is a capitalist and rightly so, will get paid what he deserves.

We live in America people, a man has a right to get paid what he deserves

I don't have a problem with Hardy saying he wants to get paid, but the problem is the cap problem that the team is in and he know it. Hardy is picking money over helping the team and winning. Yes he help them a lot this year and he do deserve a new contract, but he should help out the team by taking a smaller contract to help the cap, so they can bring in the extra talent needed to win a Super Bowl. They should restructure CJ contract so he and Hardy have the same contract but also helping the team cap.

Hardy didn't create the salary clusterfuq, why should he suffer for it?  Pay the man what hes earned or let him walk.  You people saying he should take a discount because of the situation carolina is in are wrong.  Would you tell your boss you will take a pay cut to help the business?  Of course not.  You earned the salary your making so don't be hypocritical about Hardy.
