Incognito rants on Twitter...

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

So everybody's lying except Incognito, right?

And those text messages between him and Mike Pouncey, those were fake too?

And the numerous past incidents Incognito has had since college? Those were all made up to make him look bad, huh?

Boy, the league sure must have it out for this guy, eh?

(or maybe he really is just a moronic a--hole)

Did I say he was innocent? He most likely is guilty imo but that doesn't mean I'm going to walk around like my opinion is fact. And I dot recall saying anything about his college incidents, thanks for putting more words in my mouth.

Again, u guys weren't there. Just bc someone's biased report( had to be written in a way Goodell would approve) says incognito is guilty doesn't mean he is. For the record no I did not read the 144 pg report but I did read a summary. I just read some other posts in this thread so I thought I should add that.

I agree that the report likely hides an agenda and I detailed why here:

However the report is not 144 pages of hearsay and coincidental evidence. With a couple of exceptions, it comes across as very well investigated and factual. You should read it.

You made comments about finding bias in the report, which you somehow managed to do without reading it.

Perhaps actually reading the material you're giving an opinion on would be a good start.

There's nothing wrong with walking around acting like your opinion is fact if your opinion is heavily supported and substantiated by numerous and reliable evidence. Like this case.

You're not going down that road because you're a coward. You want to dance around the obvious insinuation you're making an avoid the backlash for it with the whole "hey, those weren't MY words... you're saying those bad things!" Way to hide from your feelings, but that's not entirely uncommon in those that lack tolerance.

And asking A&E how it worked for them would be an exercise in futility, because they were overrun with bigots who are coincidentally fans of the show about rednecks. You want to talk about Sheeple, let's talk about how every time a conservative christian spews some archaic world view and backs it up with a bible verse, they get rallied around like the persecuted by the religious right and wrapped in a veil of acceptance that dictates that they never have to reeducate themselves, but rather can get indignant that they're being chastised for these horrible things they say.

How about instead of asking the channel, you ask the Robertson's how this whole thing has treated them. The once pop-culture phenomenon is being lampooned by moderates and liberals in the 18-49 demographic and ratings are falling off the page at a rate that will probably see the show canceled in a season or two. Media darlings to oppressive dopes that are being trotted out by every Republican nominee trying to cash in on the 2 minutes of fame these yokels have left to their name. But aw shucks, they don't care. All they wanted to do to start with was share the hate filled message they had in their hearts. Pray for the Robertson Clan! ....emphasis on Clan.

And what you're going to miss is that is what should happen. People who make comments that are racist, homophobic, gender discriminatory, sexist, and otherwise malformed statements are going to be taken down systematically as our culture trends towards acceptance. The same way as it happened in race relations. The idiots will soon stand alone on their island of stupidity and the views on treating homosexual people any differently will be something that our grandparents did. Just like calling farmhands "niggers", soon it will be just as much of an embarrassment and a blight on our otherwise respectable history of tolerance. So pick which side of the battle you want to be on. Because either way, the wave is coming to wash dopes like you out to sea and it couldn't come any sooner.

I don't hate anybody. I may not agree with what everyone else stands for, but I dont hate them. Sounds like you have some hate built up for anybody that doesn't agree with you. Whose in the wrong? That is the problem with America, You are supposed to hate a person if they dont agree with you. That is the problem. Please look up the term bigot and tell me who fits the definition more.

The definition of bigot doesn't include picking out specific individuals, just specific groups of people. Saying 'I don't hate but you do' is convenient for your argument, but it doesn't fly, nor does it make his comments bigoted.

a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc.

You should work for the main stream media, they can make anything sound the way they want it to.

urban dictionary has a pretty good definition....

One who is narrrowly or intolerantly devoted to his or her opinions and prejudices. This word is a general term that applies to everyone (racists, anti-Semites, misogynists, homophobes and xenophobes).
Just as whites can be bigots, so can blacks, browns and yellows.
