Lombardi traded Trent Richardson for a 1st and gets fired?! That was pure genius.

Now they will bring in a new GM who will want his own coach after hiring a new one?

It is beyond awful there.

Assistant GM Ray Farmer gets the promotion to full GM.

 

No word on how he feels about Mike pettine, but he wasn't present for the interview.

this is the only thing that gives me some hope that Hardy will stay, yeah they can pay you more then us no doubt, but is it enough to know you will probably not play a meaningful game for the rest of your career?  IDK about that.

the only reason people even care about the browns is because those fans are the definition of fanatical.

 

i've never seen people that just accept losing but keep rooting/sacrificing for a team in that fashion.

 

i remember them marching in to BoA in 2006 like they were coming to watch the patriots instead of a team that won their most recent playoff game before the panthers even existed.  one of them was super drunk and sat on my nachos.

 

i knew a browns fan through someone else back when i was in college who had a browns/i-hate-the-steelers-themed man cave in his garage.  he had actually bought some steelers fatheads and had spray painted all over them and put them on the walls.  he even had a mannequin with a big "7" spraypainted on it hung in effigy in the corner.  other than that he was pretty normal though.

Why anyone, coach or player, would want anything to do with that team, is beyond me (cept for the $$$ of course).

Embarrassing.

 

It would take a whole lot of money if I were even a assistant. What does Cleavland or the Browns offer except misery in a miserable town. I think they only job that would be just as undesirable is Detroit.
