Without a dominant DL and CJ on the the other side..Hardy is a 8 or 9 sack defensive end. He is a very good player but dont be fooled, the pieces around him helped greatly.Don't be suprised if he leaves and doesn't match the numbers he has had the last two years. It wouldn't be the first time a player moved on and never regained or matched his production with his previous team. The next time you hear the name "kraken" may be when that crappy movie is on the tube.

Sucks we cannot keep Hardy.  I don't blame him for wanting more money.  No hard feelings, here.  Wish we could keep a talent like that on the roster.  I don't know much about the ramifications of franchising him, but that seems to be our only option at this point.
