The best Sweet Tea thread

Rarely drink sweet tea unless a big family gathering.

If I go out for lunch depends on the food. Chinese restaurants make good tea.

But I get diet or real low calorie lemonade to keep mildly healthy.

I have a Mr. Coffee tea maker at home and it's awesome. A smidge less than 1 cup of sugar for 3 quarts.

I drink about 1.5 Q a day. It's decaffeinated so I don't have to stay on BP meds.

Usually only drink Unsweet, but when I do indulge at a fast food place...

87. Bojangles. Maybe it's just my local one or the one I went to in Raleigh all the time....but it was always disgusting. Never got the hype around their tea.

I think a lot of the tea flavor at B-Jangs has to do with the guy/gal making the tea. Did the guy shower before dipping his sack in the tea decanter?

The Dog House restaurants in Durham and Hillsborough in the mid to late 90's had the best sweet tea I've ever had from a fast food joint. Bojangles takes the cake now.
