Maybe there is no such thing as an elite QB. You saw what happened in the SB. Maybe it's better to be a play maker than a useless stat compiler.

If a QB doesn't have playmaking ability he can't be elite. If Peyton had playmaking ability his team would fair better in the SB. If DCs only have to worry about your receivers and passing then you can get ramrodded easily like how Peyton got humiliated in the SB. He gave his team no chance. If the OL fail those so-called elite non-playmaking QBs fail too. We need to move on to football 2.0 and redefine what makes a QB or player elite.

 

If kaepernick and Cam fair better against seattle but Peyton who has a better team get humiliated by them, how is Peyton considered elite? Which part constitute the eliteness. Let me understand this, Peyton can't do well without his OL creating a perfect wall around him? Wilson seamed to do pretty well without that perfect wall. We need to start asking more from those $20mil QBs. Dual threat QBs should get paid more then.

Before you can put this in context you have to know what his definition of elite is.  He might not put Cam or many other quarterbacks outside of the usual 4 or 5 in that category.
