“NFL Network built Thursday into a night for NFL fans,” said Commissioner Roger Goodell. “Our goal is to bring these games to more fans on broadcast television with unprecedented promotion and visibility for Thursday Night Football on CBS.”

TNF games fuging blow. The really good teams only play one TNF game. The rest of the games are Cleveland, Jacksonville, Oakland, Buffalo, etc.

You'll get a good match up of New England vs Baltimore, then it's Jacksonville vs Tennessee, Cleveland vs Oakland, Tampa Bay vs Washington. Then it's Seattle vs New Orleans followed by Jacksonville vs Buffalo, Houston vs Cleveland, Oakland vs Jacksonville.

99% of the games blow. Teams can't recover from the previous game & prepare for a new team in just 3 days. The games are sloppy.

The only TNF game I like is week 1 when the SB champion gets to host the first game of the year. Other than that having 3 primetime games every week just waters it down.

Having a crap ton of games on Sunday afternoons then one marquee matchup on MNF is what makes primetime games, & football in general, awesome. They've turned it into baseball where you get to watch a game every other day.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the "fan experience" or whatever they say. It's all about money.
