Vegas, Baby, Vegas

So I just booked a Vegas trip to teach a couple of classes next month. Will be there 3 nights. When I won't be instructing on how to shoot women in lingerie, what should I do? Any places you recommend? I don't gamble, btw.

No, this is not football related.

It has been so long for me, man, but make sure you stroll down the strip and just visit every damned thing you can.  Do not go there and miss out on seeing the Luxor Hotel (and the laser show at night from the Sphinx replica), the Venetian, or the Stratosphere Tower  complete with amusement rides...if you dare). Also, the Hoover Damn and Michael O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge are must sees. Seriously, don't miss any of these...and take your camera.

Aria Breakfast Buffett is the best, by far...the brunch even better......Goto some of the shows.  The O or the one in the Wynn....both are good....goto old vegas at night to see the lights and all.....you have fly over the old strip on a zip line......if you're with some people.  There is a little Italian place one road behind the main strip near the MGM.  I can't remember the name.  Its a family style place, big everything......really good food...good wine....good times....KEEP POUNDING!

Hit me up when u get here, I live in Vegas, and I also can get u ride passes for the Stratosphere if interested

No fuging way I'd get on any of those. Those two that take you out over the edge can suck my ass. I get nauseated just watching people on those things.

As the guy who goes to Vegas every 3-4 months, I have a lot of do's and dont's.

First off, where are you staying? Depending on your price range, the same amount of money you spend on 3 star hotel A will get you a better room at 5 star hotel B.

Second. Strip clubs..are you into strip clubs? Like most strip clubs, no alcohol = full nudity. alcohol = topless. Go to OG (Olympic Garden's) which has a very liberal touching policy. Or you can go to Palomino's which is the only game in town that has nudity and alcohol (Also if you swing that way, there's a male revue section there too).

If you want to go party on the cheap, this is what I recommend 1000% percent. There is a company called Vegas Crawl. You pay a flat fee of say $85.00 for the night and that includes entry to two bars at two different hotels, and then entry to three night clubs. You also get I think like 1-2 drinks at each location. Pretty effin bad ass.  The last place you end up on Saturday night is a place called the Foundation which is on a balcony on the very top of Mandalay Bay. This is the view and at 2:00 a.m. it's pretty bad ass.

If you want to go check our a real Sports Book, I recommend going to the Palazzo's Legasse's stadium. You will not be disappointed.

Gambling? What is your pleasure? Only pussies play slots. So if you are looking for table games, the cheap/older hotels go $3 hands (Hooters) to $5 (New York New York) to $25.00 minimums at Bellagio or play high roller at the Wynn ($1,000 tables).

Are you the outdoors type? There's the Hoover Dam, Red Rock and even helicopter tours over the Grand Canyon. There are also outdoor gun ranges that allow you to shoot every single weapon they have in their arsenal.

There's a bus on the strip called the Deuce that goes up and down. It comes in handy when you are wasted.

I'll be at the Aria on the 21st.

Too bad O'Shea's closed. I have some great day-drunk beer pong memories there.

Edit: they actually reopened! Hell yes.

O'Shea's is where I won the most on a table game. I loved that old school feeling. It is now the home of the world's largest ferris wheel!

Oh I forgot Casino Royale on the strip. This is a complete dive right on the strip. They do cheap craps and have immediate comps for a Subway on site and an outback upstairs. 100 play penny video poker machines. Lots of alternative table games.

It is just different. Spend a little time there next time you are there. It is hilarious.

ETA: They used to have 100x odds on dollar craps lol
